When I was in high school, the book Confessions of a Shopaholic introduced me to the wonderful world of sample sales. It was a magical, wonderful land where ladies would (pardon my French) cut a bitch to get designer pieces at rock bottom prices. Sample sales only happened in large, metropolitan cities like New York so I could only dream about the shopping opportunities that I was missing.
Enter, the digital age. Now there are tons of sample sales that are popping up all over the internet. Every day, a site will send you an e-mail listing their specials for the day. You have 24 hours to act on it, or the sale is lost forever. By shopping online, every country chick, and uptown girl couls have access to the latest designer deals available. Virtual sample sales are the great equalizer in this wonderful nation.
