Moisturizer

Dry skin = wrinkles down the road. One way to avoid (at least for a little while) the inevitable from happening is to moisturize daily. Most of the dudes I know (cough, RobbyDC, cough) think that they can get away with using body lotion but most of the time it will clog your skin and leave you with a greasy, pimply face.

Take notes ladies! A good facial moisturizer should:
  • Leave your skin soft and supple - - never oily
  • Have an SPF of at least 15 (30 is better)
  • Go on smoothly under makeup
  • Have a nice consistency - - not too thick or too watery
Below are some of my favorite brands of moisturizers that meet all of the above needs and all at different price points. Let me know if you have any recommendations for other good quality brands.

  1. Is there such a thing as a moisturizing make up primer? I use a foundation primer before putting on make up which is usually right after I've washed my face.

  3. I googled moisturizing makeup primer and the only thing I can come up with is http://www.laurenhutton.com/facial-moisturizer.html. I've never really used primer though...is it a must?
